Doctor Who #1

Hey Everyone. Before we start I just want to apologise for not uploading last week. Anyway this weeks topic of choice is Doctor Who and I am going to do a brief life update, but you can skip that if you want, I'll give you a little warning where it starts and finishes.

LIFE UPDATE!
So this will hopefully be very quick but I ramble so we'll see.
I started college about two and half weeks ago now and so far am really enjoying it. The Performing Arts coarse is really fun and very ones really friendly. I going to try and explain the way the split the groups, but it might not make any sense to you so here goes. So we took an English, Maths, Science and computer science assessments on the first two days we were there .They then split us up into four groups Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D. They are in order of skill so, for example someone who did amazing would be in group A but someone who didn't do so well would be in Group D. They do these test at the end of every month to see if you improve or need to be moved to a different group. They would normal keep you in different groups for different subjects(So if you are good at English you would be in group A for English, but might be in group C for Maths) but for the first month they just based it on an over all score of all the assessments. Anyway I got into Group A and I wouldn't say there my friends but then again I know them and have talked to them all. I do have friends called Brooke and Leah. I also know the guys in my Performing Arts group quite well. I also really like my teachers (well most of them) . So that's college the next thing is I've become completely obsessed with the Hamilton soundtrack and I mean OBSESSED. It's so amazing you should definitely listen to it, I'm not going to tell you about it so if you want to know you'll have to just listen to it. I will definitely write about it in the future. We also had a few water problems as a pipe in our kitchen burst, but they're mostly sorted now. My mum has been learning to drive and has her driving test next week, I looking forward to her being able to do they things she wants to without having to rely on my dad all the time.
LIFE UPDATE OVER!

Doctor Who
Very soon the new season of Doctor Who is coming out with it's first ever female doctor. I would just like to get my opinion about this out the way and please don't disregard my opinion as I would not yours. I think everyone is aloud to have their own opinion and it's not my job to tell you what you feel.
I think their are bonuses to having a female doctor, but I also think it messes up his whole timeline and that the writers and directors did it for the wrong reasons. I get that people want more female roles and that sexism is something people are fighting in this generation and  I think that's great, but the doctor is male, that's just something he's always been. I'm still willing to enjoy Jodie Whitaker as the doctor and who knows maybe she'll be really good.

Ok moving on, my favourite doctor is the 11th played by Matt Smith. I think he plays his version of the doctor in a lovely, bubbly way, while still being emotional and making the show exciting. I think he's my favourite because I relate to him the most. I also love Amy Pond and Rory Williams and while they were amazing there were points Amy annoyed me so Clara has remained my favourite companion.

I do also love the 10th doctor played by David Tennant. His character carries a lot more baggage, but he is played amazingly and all his companions have great chemistry with him.  My favourite companion of his was probably Donna Noble, they were just so good together and her ending will be forever be the saddest.

I think while the 10th doctors story-lines were good they were less confusing than the River Song story, which is my favourite. It was so well though out and romantic.

I think that's it, sorry it's not much, I'm sure they'll be more when the new season starts so I'll definitely be back with some more Doctor Who soon. Thanks for reading, be sure to comment your favourite doctor. Bye

YouTubers

Hey Everyone. Before I start just want to say, I will make sure I do one post about each subject before I start on the second post for a subject I've already done, if that makes any sense. Anyway onto the next topic.

This weeks topic of choice is YouTubers. I'm sure almost everyone reading this will know what a YouTuber is and if you don't, where have you been the last 13 years.
My experience with YouTubers is a bit strange as I remember watching people like Alfie Days and Zoelle when I was like 8 which was probably to young. I didn't have any clue what they were talking about and in time stopped watching them.
Then last November I was just scrolling on Pinterest (sort of a social media app) and I stumbled along a Dan and Phil pin. It looked vaguely interesting so I pinned it. This then meant many more came up and I eventually decided to give them a watch and see what they were like.
As some one who gets easily lured in and addicted to things, this meant I was soon subscribed to both there channels, side channel and gaming channel. Soon enough I had watched ALL their videos.
I still love watching their videos, even the ones I've seen a million times.
This lead me to watching various other peoples videos, people like Connor Franta, Tyler Oakley, Troye Sivan (I then started listening to his music..) , Kickthepj and even a bit of Pewdiepie. I kinda like Tyler and Troye, but non of them really interested me as much as Dan and Phil.
Before I go on any further I just want to say for most of the year Dan and Phil were the only YouTubers I was watching and they helped so much. Like you wouldn't think someone who doesn't even know you exist could help, but there were so many things they said and did that helped me though my toughest days. Whether it was just making me smile/laugh on a bad day or saying something encouraging and the best bit was no matter where I was or who I was with, as long as I had my phone, I could just press play and they were right there.
Any way, so I was watching Dan and Phil and bla bla bla. The next YouTuber I discovered was only a couple of months ago now and I must have just been on youtube and a Thomas Sanders vine compilation popped up on my suggested and of cause I watched it. I then watched another and another, I then found out he had a youtube channel of his own and started watching his videos. Then all of  a sudden I was in to deep. If you're a nerd you'll know how that feels. I've watched almost all of his videos now and some of my favourites of his series are Sander Sides (Obviously), Voices of unreason and Ask The Experts. I also love Cartoon Therapy and basically any video Joan is in cause they're adorable (Joan is Thomas's best friend).
Here's a little info on all of them

PHIL LESTER aka Amazingphil #1
Philip Lester or Phil is a 31 year old British YouTuber with 4 million subscribers and 1.2 million on his side channel Lessamazingphil. He and Dan had a small radio show on Radio 1 every Sunday called Internet Take Over for about a year and a half, but soon ended as the two wanted to move on and try new things. They are coming up to their 10th year of being on youtube and in my opinion that is a big achievement. They've had some drama in their time and I'm proud of them for getting where they are now. I hope you check them out and love them just as much as I do. Phil's YouTube name is Amazingphil.

Musicians

Hello Everyone. So this post I'm going to be talking about some of my current favourite artistes Twenty One Pilots, NF and Troye Sivan.
Twenty One Pilots #1
Twenty One Pilots are an American band, of only two, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dunn. I started listening to these guys about a year ago now, when, my sister, Ruth's friend was over playing them and Ruth just wanted to stop hearing them. Being the good sister I am, I decided to start listening to them too.
I honestly love them so much because they're music is funky beats with lyrics that actually mean something. One of my favourite things about them is that they don't just fit into one genre of music. Like they're rap, but not quite 🤣. Honestly, if you've never listened to them before, I seriously suggest you do.
I really wanted to talk about the new album they are slowly bringing out, Trench. So far we have Jumpsuit (released on June 11), Nico And The Niners (released on June 11), Levitate (Released on Aug 8) and the most recent, My Blood (Released on Aug 27). I'm really loving what they have brought out so far, it feels very different, but it's still their style. My favourite song so far is My Blood which is rumoured to be about Tyler's (One of the musicians) wife. I will probably talk about these guys a lot more in the future as they are like my number one artistes to listen to.

This  is the style of their new album, Trench
NF #1
The second artist I would like to bring up is NF. The artist NF other wise known as Nathan Feuerstein is an American rapper, singer and song writer. I am very new to listening to him as I only started two days ago. I don't really know how I found him, he just showed up on my Spotify. I don't normally listen to rap and like it, but this guys music is actually amazing and feels very heartfelt. He has come from a dark past and some would say his music is dark, but he would say it's real. I do really enjoy his stuff, but I will say I don't think he's for everyone. And maybe don't listen to him if you want to be in a light, positive mood. If you're into that kind of dark, rap stuff go check him out. Perception released on October 6th last year and he also has two other albums, Therapy session and Mansion. My favourite album so far is Therapy Session. I will probably bring NF up again when I listen to more of his stuff and know more songs.

Troye Sivan #1
Last, but not least Troye Sivan. He's well known currently so you may know who he is, if you don't, Troye Sivan is an Australian singer, song writer, actor and you-tube personality. Also he's super pretty. I actually found him through his you-tube channel and decided to give him a listen and was surprised by how good he actually is. His music is lighter and a lot of fun to dance and sing to if you're into that (Which I very much am). He too is releasing new music, he actually released the last five songs from his new album Bloom on Friday. The new ones are called Postcards, Seventeen, plum, What A Heavenly Way To Die and Lucky Strike. I listen to them earlier and I must say they are really good. My favourite so far is Plum, but What A Heavenly Way To Die is not far behind. Troye Is a really lovely, bubbly person and I love him so much, I would definitely recommend him, but maybe I'm a bit bias.

Ok I think that's all, if you guys have any artist you think I should listen to please comment below I love to listen to new music. Also if you want to check any of these guys out there's some links down the side in my "Links" section.  Thanks for reading and I hope you have a good day. Bye
