Daniel Howell #2

Hey Everyone. This weeks post will probably be very short as I don't have much planned and have had an interesting week. I am planning to watch the new episode of Doctor Who at some point this week and will be writing about it next post so make sure watch it to avoid  spoilers.
Just want to mention I'm also going to start messing around with fonts and colours so bare with me while I work out how I want it to look. ( I might also be changing the look of previous posts)
Anyway onto this weeks subject..

This week I am briefly going to be talking about Dan Howell and his journey with depression. A couple of days ago now on the 10th of October it was Mental Health Day. I, myself  have never had any problems with mental health, but it is something I really want to help make easier to manage and help those who do have mental health problems.
Anyway so about a year ago on Mental Health Day Dan come out with his depression. He made a video on his channel about his depression and in my opinion it's one of his best videos.
Many people have felt inspired by it and have said that his video helped them to talk about their mental health. If you want to watch it just click HERE
He also became an ambassador for a Mental Health charity called Young Minds and this year for Mental Health Day he released t-shirts and flags that say "Have The Courage To Exist"
and all the money spent on the t-shirts/flags goes to the Young Minds Charity to raise money.

Exist T-Shirt

This quote is from an old video of his that really spoke to people.

Exist Flag
If you would like to purchase a t-shirt/flag just CLICK HERE as I said all funds go to Young Minds.
As a fan of Dan I am really proud of him and his struggle with depression, I know there have been some really hard times for him, but I think it just goes to show that Mental illnesses are not permanent and you can get better all it takes is some courage and someone willing to help.

That's it from me this week folks be sure to leave a comment telling me your experiences with mental health (or if you love Dan and want to just rant about how amazing he is). Bye.
